Weeks 37-Deliver: Cucumber

At week 37, your pregnancy is considered full term, meaning baby is likely to thrive after birth. Baby spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which you’ll probably find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. If (okay, as) you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life.

How many 6+lbs cucumbers have YOU ever seen?  My baby, I assure you, is much larger than a damn cucumber.  This has got to be the silliest comparison I've heard....

Watermelon, maybe?  Cucumber, I think not.  Birthing a cucumber would be a cinch!

Yeah I think this entire fruit and vegetable comparison has been a bit odd.  I mean, it was stuck on Honeydew for the last week and I kept thinking how weird it was because melons are all rigid and round and how much THAT would hurt, even if it was just a silly honeydew.  But now?  Cucumber?  Give me a break.  His LEG is as big as a cucumber - I've felt it!
