My favorite travel item is the Boppy Rock in Comfort Travel swing.  It is great for travel because it folds almost flat and will fit right behind the front seat.  It's very soft and plush.  My 7 month old has been using it from the time she was born both at home, at the babysitters, and when traveling and still enjoys it.  It also has a timer on it to conserve the batteries.  It is definitely a must have!

The one item I would say both of my babies absolutely loved and that gave me some time to actually shower or grab a bite to eat is the Papasan Cradle Swing. It quickly became everyone's favorite because it made everyone happy! I always tell any new Mom to be sure to invest in a good swing because its amazing how much of a sanity-saver they can be!

My favorite baby travel item is the Clean Shopper Shopping Cart Cover.  I use it when we shop and on the high chairs in restaurants.  It makes me feel better that I can keep some of the germs away from my little one and make a nice comfy space for him to sit.  I've even used it as  a changing pad in a bind.  Great to have in the trunk for emergencies as a nice soft place for him to lay:)

I cannot leave the house without my sling!  Connor is so quiet and content in it and LOVES to face out to look at the world.  I have gotten so much use out of our sling.  It is so worth the money!

the summer infant quicksmart easy fold stroller!!

its so light (12 lbs), sturdy, and easy to use. it holds your child up to 40 lbs, comes with a carrying case and weather cover, and fits in overhead bins in airplanes! much easier to use than our travel system. we love camping and have been keeping our daughter in the tent with us. this baby tent is such a great idea!

I agree with some others.  The Sling is amazing.  I think it makes babies feel like they are so close and also enclosed and safe.   They are so quite and nestled in when they are in the sling.

My absolute favorite travel item is my Ergo carrier.  It keeps my son close and happy.  He feels like I am holding him, yet I can have my hands free to do shopping.  It also has the added benefit of not having him in his car seat and hence perpetuating a flat head.

The most important item I make sure I have always is my ipod with Baby Einstein music in it. My infant daughter just loves to listen to it while driving in the car or going to bed.

My favorite baby travel gear item is my Maya Wrap. I cannot leave the house without it because I carry my 5 month old baby girl in it everywhere I go. Wearing her on me when I am out keeps her content much longer than if I just kept her in her car seat.  Thanks for this fun giveaway!

I have 2 favorites...For the car, I love the Baby Site Mega rearview car mirror. My son LOVES to see himself, and I love hearing him laugh and giggle in the backseat.

For trips where I'll be walking, especially if I'm without my husband, I absolutely have to have my Sling Rider carrier. It is so much easier than lugging around that heavy carseat (even though my son does not even weigh 10 lbs yet!). I have gotten so many compliments on it. The first time I wore it around my family, they didn't know where the baby was...they thought I was carrying a book sac!!

I have to be honest with you! I am not sure what the best products are because I will be a new mommy!  I am looking for the best products for our soon to be! My kids are older now and would love this for my new grandson. When my kids were little and even with my grandsons, my favorite take along item was their baby seat that viberated. Because when you are visting sometimes play pens and swings would be to big or bulky. Where a seat was more pratical. When they got older it was the walker that they could play in but it was stationary.

I love my Moby Wrap. Noah wouldn't let me eat at restaurants. I had to hold him constantly before I got the wrap. Since then, I strap him in and he snuggles to sleep. Meanwhile, my hands are free to eat! He's also big enough to face forward in it now when we're out at the mall.

Okay there are two things that I can't leave the house without when we travel, first my Baby Bjorn carrier and second my DS's stuffed lion with rattle. The Baby Bjorn allows him to go to sleep close to mommy, which he loves (most of the time the only way he will go to sleep) and it allows me to have my hands and arms free. The Stuffed Lion he loves to look at and play with because it is soft and bright. When we are in the car, I stick it in the back window so he can see it. I also use it to distract when I am changing his diaper.

this may sound stupid, but his car seat.  it is like a miracle worker, it rocks so I can sooth him, he likes being snuggled, so the fact that it is small helps him sleep, and of course, the most important, keeps him safe.

My "can't leave home without it" item is a blanket my aunt made for me.  It's a large blanket that she attached a bunch of toys and rattlers to.  I can set that down anywhere and he has a blast!

I am still trying to conceive but when I have my BFs little one, I make sure to have the portable DVD player with me at all times.  He loves the Little Einstein DVDs so I make sure I am prepared.
