re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I'd love to get this for my best friend, Adrienne, who is expecting in July.   She's the most giving person that I've ever met.  She always running here and there with homemade dinners for someone who is ill.  She helps out at her Church.  She's always there for whoever may need her.  She's really deserving of this.

Thanks for offering this wonderful giveaway.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I am pregnant for the very first time and so excited!  I live in Hilo, Hawaii where baby stores are limited to ONE small specialty store, Wal-Mart, and local grocery/drug stores.  Being gifted would be such a treat, especially to a place where many online stores won't ship to because we are not a part of the continental US. :)

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I would love to be gifted in order to pamper myself a little bit after birth.  I am due in August with my second child.  My first pregnancy was easy, but this one has proved to be difficult.  First, I experienced several miscarriages, and now I've been having vein problems.  I don't like to complain about the aches and pains of pregnancy because I know how long it took me to keep a pregnancy and that there are many women who would love to be in my shoes.  It would be wonderful to have a little something special to enjoy after my new baby arrives.  Thanks for the wonderful contest.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

We all need to take some time for ourselves.  We can't take care of anyone well if we are not doing well ourselves.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I would like to be gifted because i just had my second child and her and her sister are only 14months apart and my 14month old is super busy with running all over the place and trying to over help mommy with the baby and potty training and then caring for a newborn everything is so overwhelming i feel as if i have to be super mom and just forget about myself because my girls are the most important and I seem to not have time for anything but them and I love that i really do but it would be nice to be gifted!

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I was trying to figure out why I deserve this AMAZING gift but everything I came up with I had a solution for.  My husband and I are expecting our first baby together at the end of June.  We live with his parents and my family is 10 minutes away, so we are constantly surrounded by family and friends willing to help in any way.  I decided that yes I WANT this gift, but I don't NEED it.  I would rather win it for my friend Jeanine.  She is expecting a little girl almost exactly a month after me.  She has just moved and now her commute to work is over 2 hours each way due to traffic.  She hardly has any time with her fiance and she is now 1-3 hours away from family and friends.  She has to continue her job for now to keep the insurance.  I know she would really benefit from this gift and know it would be such a blessing for her.  So I would love to win this prize for her to at least make the after pregnacy easier for her.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I would love to be gifted because this is my first pregnancy, which I have been told by my doctor is probably my last. I was born 4 months premature and because of that I had a lot of trouble conceiving and may go through early menopause. I am hoping to be very prepared for my new beautiful baby coming in December, and this would help me trimendously! I also was accepted to a doctorate program the same day I found out I was pregnant & I believe that this gift could not only help me, but help my husband who will be the best daddy in the world to our baby. Thanks so much!

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I'm a first time mom so being gifted would not only make me and my hubby's life easier as far as knowing what to get, but truly make our soon to be baby happy that he/she has parents who are prepared.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

Hi - I am writing to request that my wife be gifted.  She has had a hard pregnancy as we are both nearly 40.  We are so excited to have our first child - and we now know that it is a boy.  I love my wife so much and am so glad that our little family is now about to grow.  I know from reading online that many women love this time of their life - unfortunately for my wife Erin, she is still working and is not fully able to take the time to relax and enjoy.  I would love to do something extra special for her and I know thta this would be a great surprise for her to receive a special "gift".  Thank you.  Mark

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

Well, I have two kids, my big one is 3 1/2.  The baby (who can you believe is already 5 months) has BAD reflux and wakes up 1-2 times a night (or more).  Until he was 3 months he woke up every 1 1/2 hours.   Oh and he won't take a bottle, so there is never a break for me.  So, I'm mighty tired.  A gift that would help would be fantastic!

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I would appriecate the gift quite a lot. I am pregnant with my second child, but my husbands first. We homeschool since the education were we had to move for my husbands job is not the best or even ok.  Since my husband works all hours of the day and night I am unable to get a job for the little things that would be wonderful to have for our precious little one that is due in December. We are doing tons to save money and every but helps. Thank you for your time.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

After 14 hours of contractions 2 minutes apart and so strong I couldn't sleep, talk, or walk through them, they suddenly stopped this morning.  I'm exhausted, confused, and disappointed.  If stripping my mebranes, castor oil, walking, spicy food, and "quiet time" with my hubby won't get this baby here, what will?!

I'm expecting my second child in august and have a 2 1/2 year old ACTIVE toddler.  We live 20 minutes from any stores for baby supplies and I am terrified of being stuck without!  It happened a lot with #1 - but we were within walking distance from stores then!  With a hubby that travels a lot - it would be nice to be pampered for a bit!

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

Hi there!  I know that there are many families out there who really deserve this gift package, but I believe that my husband and I could really benefit from it.  My husband is in Medical school and I am in my 1st year of my Master's Program...so needless to say we do not have much money or ability to support ourselves.  Both of our families live more than 500 miles away, so we are going to be having to do a lot of this on our own, which is fine but will also be quite challenging.  Either way, I don't want to give a sob story to win this gift package, I just know that  we and our baby (girl/boy)could really benefit from this.  Thanks for considering us! :)

I would love this as I am expecting in Oct., However my friend Kristi who is due at the end of July deserves this more.  Her husband was a pilot in the air force and he died in March of this year, when she was just a few months pregnant in a plane crash.  They are having a baby boy which made his Dave the happiest he has ever been.  She is a great person and is going through so much and will be a wonderful mother, but this would be great for her.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

This package would be such a blessing for our family. I am a new mommy and I am 20 years old. I wasn't prepared for growing up so fast. I always thought I would wait to be settled down, married, have a house, and have a good job before bringing life into this world. I wish I could provide more for my daughter, but right now keeping clean clothes and diapers (cloth! icky but CHEAP...and good for our Mother Earth) is my main concern. I do my best and more for my little sunshine, as I am sure all the Nest mommies do, but a little help would be incredibly helpful and I would be forever grateful. Thank you for the opportunity.

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

I can't say that I'll be more deserving than any other mommy-to-be here.  This would truly be a blessing, if I were chosen for this wonderful package.  My husband and I have six children (collectively) and baby will make seven.  I haven't been pregnant in over ten years.  So, I'm excited a little out of the loop.  I had trouble nursing with my daughters and I want everything to go well this time around.  Our due date is December 26th and this would be a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas with our family. Good luck & God bless all contestants!

My brother and sister-in-law are moving to SF to have their baby and raise him with family close but they only made it as far as New Mexico! She is delivering her baby this afternoon (May 2nd, earlier than expected, in Gallup!) and when they get here to SF, we will do what we can to help but they could really use a break, some supplies and some baby knowledge! They have a new apartment sitting here empty, they didn't even get a chance to move in. They are sweet and charming and will find their way with their new little love, but need baby supplies and gear!

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

This came at just the right time...I JUST found out I'm pregnant with #3 - SURPRISE!  My 2nd is just 9 months old and still nursing exclusively.  I have enough cloth diapers for her and a few for my not-yet-potty-learned toddler, but with a new baby coming a few more cloth diapers and things to pamper a soon to be mom of 3 who are 3 and under sounds like HEAVEN!  DH is already very worried about affording the two we have, and now #3...The news is thrilling but the financial toll is scaring the hubby!  Thanks!!!

re: Gifted at Birth Care Package Giveaway!

Well, I feel that anyone women who is pregnant deserves this despite their circumstances, but the reason I feel I deserve this is because my pregnancy has been less stress free. After trying for about six months, I found out I was pregnant with my first baby in October. I was 3 weeks pregnant. A week later I had severe bleeding and was told I suffered a miscarriage. We were devastated.  However upon my next visit to my doctor they still felt I was pregnant even though I was still bleeding because my blood work still showed a baby.  At that point they thought the pregnancy was ectopic and would need to be ended. The problem was it was too early to tell on an ultrasound so for the next 5 anxious weeks I had weekly visits for ultrasounds, and I continued to bleed throughout. At about 8.5 weeks by some miracle they found the heartbeat in my uterus right where it belonged. Then the bleeding randomly stopped about about 12 1/2 weeks. It was the most joyous and wonderful feeling and we felt so blessed after having grieved a potential miscarriage only to find this perfect being was growing inside me.   The only bad news was that they also found a large cyst on my ovary that they thought to be benign so they decided to watch it for growth. We honestly didn't think much of it as we were so overjoyed thinking about our baby coming.   Well now I am 7 weeks from delivery and at my last ult
