By now, you've surely heard a thing or two about the controversy over bisphenol A, a controversial compound found in some plastics... including many brands of baby feeding gear. Check out Safe Mama for a crash course in BPA, as well as a summary of a government study released last week that's brought BPA (once again) to the front of the news. Here's what's happened in the aftermath...

Canada's banning BPA in baby bottles (at The Soft Landing Blog)

Walmart and Toys R Us are going BPA-free (at ohdeedoh and Safe Mama)

Playtex is removing BPA from all products (at Z Recommends)

Avent is launching BPA-free bottles (at Z Recommends)

Also at Safe Mama is the most helpful and comprehensive guide to BPA-free  bottles and sippy cups and pacifiers and teethers that we've seen on the web. We've got this one bookmarked!
