We use mylicon gas drops when the boys have gas works in twenty minutes.

Dark Karo syrup for constipation.

For those nursing mothers out there... Wear an undershirt! It's nice to have the undershirt be a tank top or something like that so that you can pull your outershirt up and then still have the coverage from the undershirt. Even if you use a blanket to cover up, your side and belly are still exposed. It's just added coverage and makes you feel less exposed, especially if you nurse in public!

If you have a pack and play mini(travel) bed, we use king size pillowcases as sheets. I look for them on clearance, sure beats $8.99 for one sheet that matches it

When my 11 month old son is roaming around the living room being adventurous practicing his pulling up to stand and walking I put his Thudguard infant safety hat on him and can get a few things done myself while in the same room, because if he does fall his head is fully protected by the protective foam of the hat and it makes him happy to be so independent and that mom is not standing over him all the time.
