re: Meet Andi Silverman!

When I return to work at 8 weeks pp, I will be working 12 hour shifts 3-4 days a week.  Will my body know when in the day I need to pump?  Should I try to just pump a couple of days before I return to work to practice?

re: Meet Andi Silverman!

I am going back to work around 4 months pp, and will only have one chance in the day, during my 28 minute lunch period, to pump (I'm a teacher). I'm at work from about 7:45-4:00. Is this enough time to get the job done to the point where I'll be comfortable?

re: Meet Andi Silverman!

I have an inverted nipple.  It never pops out!  I really want to breast feed and have heard about the shields.  Will this really work?  Is there anything else I can do to help the situation??

re: Meet Andi Silverman!

I've been successfully breastfeeding for almost 10 months, but all of the sudden I keep developing a milk blister on my nipple. It's always in the same spot. Her latch and everything still seems fine, any ideas?

Also, I'm planning to wean from daytime feedings/pumpings at 1 year (only a couple months off now!!) but would like to continue feeding at night and in the morning a bit longer.  How long will my supply last if I am no longer pumping at work during the day?

re: Meet Andi Silverman!

My son and I have had thrush for about 4 weeks and have had the nystatin.  Just when it seems to get better, it gets worse and it doesn't want to go away!  What can I do to finally get rid of the "Yeastie Beastie" and keep it from coming back.  Also why don't they worn new breastfeeding mothers about this?!?!?
