Denise, a certified nurse-midwife, has worked in obstetrics for ten years and lives outside San Diego with her husband of ten years and nine-month-old son Benjamin. These days, she enjoys reading nursery rhymes and cloth books, singing lullabies and the ABCs, attending playgroup and seeing mommy friends and their kids, long walks with the stroller, and quick dinners with the husband whenever possible. About a year ago, her interests also included sailing, hiking, traveling, reading, yoga, coffee dates with friends, and long dinners with the husband. She likes her new life better, thank you.

Hi Denise, I am pregnant for the first time and it has taken a long time for the doctor to confirm, but i know i am, there are days that i feel like yeah right i am not, and others like omg yes!!!! is this normal?
