Q: I'm about to leave my baby with a sitter for the first time, and I'm so nervous. What information do I need to give the sitter before I leave? I'm sure I'll forget something once she's here.

A: Use this guide to give your caregiver detailed instructions every time she comes. On the first visit, remember to point out your emergency phone numbers and information and give a house tour including demonstrations of how to lock the doors and use any necessary baby equipment.
